Concert Information
September 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The BES Music Department is looking forward to an exciting concert series ahead! As part of the NJ Visual and Performing Arts State Standards, our goal is to present our students with the opportunity to participate in a concert performance.
The process of working on and performing in a concert is a valuable learning experience. Concert events broaden our students’ musical knowledge and skills while promoting team building, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
This year’s schedule of performances is listed below. Please note that sometimes events beyond our control may force us to make changes. All concerts will take place in our gymnasium.
We are presenting this information to you in advance so that you may plan for your child’s participation. If your child cannot attend a performance, please send us a note so we can make adjustments as needed.
We thank you for your help and consideration in making these activities a positive experience for everyone.

- Grades 5 & 6 Holiday Ensemble Concert
- Featuring: 5th & 6th Grade Choir Bears, 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Strings, and 6th Grade Band
- Performance date: December 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
- Snow date: December 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm
- Grades 1 & 2 Musical
- Performance date: February 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
- Snow date: February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
- Grades 3 & 4 Concert
- Featuring: 3rd & 4th Grade Musical, 3rd Grade Recorders, 4th Grade Band, and 4th Grade Dance Presentation
- Performance date: April 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
- Grades 5 & 6 Spring Instrumental Concert
- Featuring: 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Strings, and 6th Grade Band
- Performance date: May 28, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
- Kindergarten “Moving Up” Concert and Ceremony:
- June 2025 (exact date and time TBD)
